Just for Fun: Homemade Temporary Tattoos

My cousin and I were looking for an easy way to make some Temporary Tattoos for our getaway next month and I found this.  With Halloween fast approaching, I thought you might want to give it a try.  I tested it on my arm (yep that tiny heart) with a regular BIC ball point pen and it worked!  Super easy!  I'm sure most tattoos would look better in black, but you could probably use red too and get the same resulsts.  Also, unlike face paint, it doesn't rub off right away!

Have fun!

  • Draw or print image on paper (make sure wording is backwards)
  • Trace heavy with gel pen
  • Place ink side down on skin
  • Cover with warm wet rag (or paper towel) for 30 seconds
  • Peel off paper and you'll have your temporary tattoo!
